Multipurpose Facility approved

The governor awards the city of Marianna $5 million for the multipurpose facility/disaster shelter to be built at the MERE Complex. This has been a much need facility for shelter for residents in Marianna, Jacson County and state of Florida seeking shelter in time of disasters but will also give the Rec Dept an onsite facility to host basketball and volleyball and large gatherings.
